Rick Ferguson

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Rick Ferguson established Sequora with the conviction that private forensic bioinformatics could serve the legal system with greater speed, independence, and scientific rigor than legacy public laboratories. He leads the organization's strategic direction, national partnerships, and laboratory expansion.

Robert Michel

Founding Member

Robert Michel co-founded Sequora bringing deep expertise in forensic laboratory operations and evidence management. His work established the chain-of-custody frameworks and LIMS architecture that underpin every case processed at Sequora.

Thomas Cooper, MD

Founding Member

Dr. Thomas Cooper brings medical and clinical genomics expertise to Sequora's founding team. His background in molecular diagnostics and forensic pathology shaped the laboratory's RNA analysis capabilities and its protocols for biological evidence interpretation.
